From School Reports

The Lady Eagles took full advantage of a small window of dry weather to travel to battle Coahoma Community College for another pair of conference games.

The Lady Eagles cruised to a pair of impressive conference wins over CCC by winning Game One 20-0 and easily securing the sweep in Game Two by a final count of 22-1. MCC improved to 13-25 overall and 10-14 in conference play, while Coahoma dropped to 0-32 overall and 0-24 in league play.

MCC will conclude the 2016 regular season with a four-game home stand this weekend at Tommy McDonald Field against Northwest Mississippi Community College and East Central Community College. MCC will take on Northwest this Saturday in a doubleheader beginning at noon and will battle ECCC on Sunday in a twin bill beginning at 2 p.m.
