MCC Baseball Postpones Road Doubleheader

The Meridian Community College baseball team has announced
that is scheduled doubleheader for Tuesday on the road at Alabama Southern
Community College has been postponed due to weather and poor road conditions.
The doubleheader was originally scheduled to be played Wednesday afternoon in
Monroeville, AL, but was rescheduled to be played in Thomasville, AL on Tuesday
due to more winter weather forecasted for Wednesday in the area. The games
could possibly be rescheduled for a later date in the season.
MCC will now return to action March 2 at home against Spring Hill College in a doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m. The Eagles are currently 6-4 overall for the 2015 season after a doubleheader split (0-8, 2-0) last Friday against Baton Rouge Community College at Scaggs Field.
