MCC opens up confrence play vs Hinds

(MERIDIAN) – The Meridian Community College basketball teams open up their MACJC South Division schedule by hosting Hinds Community College on Monday night.

The Lady Eagles take the floor at 6 p.m. and the Eagles play at 8 p.m. Both games will be broadcast on WMER 1390 AM staring at 5:55 p.m.

The Lady Eagles (10-1) are looking for their tenth consecutive win after starting the season 1-1. MCC’s only defeat thus far was to then #1-ranked Trinity Valley out of Athens, TX.

The Eagles (6-5) are 4-1 at home and are looking to make a strong start in conference play. Their non-conference schedule was highlighted by victories over MACJC North Division foes Coahoma Community College and East Mississippi Community College.
