WMER 1390 AM radio to broadcast MCC Basketball Games

MERIDIAN, Miss. – For the second consecutive year Meridian Community College has teamed up with local Christian/southern gospel radio station WMER 1390 AM to broadcast the school’s home basketball games.

The broadcasts begin this Monday (Jan 7th) when MCC host their first conference game of the season versus Hinds Community College.

Tip off for the contest starts at 6 PM when the Lady Eagles take to the court, followed by the men’s game at 8 PM.

MCC’s sports information director and head golf coach, Sean Covich will call the play-by-play action. Former MCC male athlete of the year (2003) and North East Lauderdale High School basketball standout, Clinton Hales, will provide the color commentary.

All the MCC home basketball games will be broadcast on 1390 AM WMER (see below for dates) starting at 5:55 PM.
