MCC prepares for road contest vs Delgado

Both Meridian Community College basketball teams will travel to face Delgado (LA) Community College Tuesday night in New Orleans.

The Lady Eagles improved to 7-1 with a road win at Wallace-Selma this past Saturday.

The Eagles have won back-to-back ballgames and are 5-3 on the season.

MCC swept Delgado back on November 3 in their season opener. The Lady Eagles won handily, 103-25 while the Eagles won a thriller, 79-78.

The Delgado contest is the second in four consecutive road games for MCC. Meridian defeated Wallace-Selma Saturday, then is slated to face Delgado, Coahoma Community College (Dec 8) and then Volunteer (TN) State Community College (Jan 3) before returning home to host Hinds Community College (Jan 7) in their conference opener.
