MCC’s Silva named All Region

Making the grade for the All Region 23 men’s soccer team was Meridian Community College sophomore, Terry Silva.

Silva, a Starkville native, led the Eagles with 18 goals and 6 assist on the year.

“Terry is one of the best to come through this program,” said MCC head coach Alex George.

“He has so much character on and off the field and gives you his best each and every match. I will miss him and he will be difficult to replace.”

Silva joined McKenzie Butler and Holly Head as fellow Eagles on the All Region soccer team. Butler and Head were members of the MCC women’s soccer team. He has many options to weigh as he looks to continue his playing career with several NCAA Division I offers.
