Former MCC basketball player leads Pistons

The Detroit Pistons of the NBA started their campaign with a road contest. On last Friday, Ronald Murray scored 19 points off the bench as the Pistons came away with a 116-92 win over the Orlando Magic.

Murray is a former standout basketball player from Meridian Community College.

This past year, Murray was inducted into the inaugural class of the Mississippi Junior College Athletic Hall of Fame as one of three MCC members (Lou Hart, Cliff Lee).
