MCC set to host the Meridian Star Invitational

(MERIDIAN)- Meridian Community College is preparing to host the Meridian Star Invitational basketball tournament Saturday afternoon.

The tournament will feature six teams, four schools and three games, all played on the MCC campus at the Graham Gymnasium.

The Northeast Lauderdale Lady Trojans will open up the tournament when they take on the Starkville Lady Yellow Jackets in the opening game at 4:30 p.m.

Then the Meridian Lady Wildcats will take to the court as they square off against the Bay Springs Lady Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m.

In boy’s action, the Meridian High Wildcats will face the Bay Springs Bulldogs in the final contest of the event.

Girls NE Lauderdale v Starkville 4:30 pm
Girls Meridian v Bay Springs 6:00 pm
Boys Meridian v Bay Springs 7:30 pm
