MCC Softball Splits Set With Co-Lin

The Meridian Community College Lady Eagles returned to Tommy McDonald Field Wednesday afternoon to play host to Co-Lin Community College in another MACJC South Division doubleheader. The Lady Eagles came away with a doubleheader split (6-7, 9-6) on Wednesday afternoon against the Lady Wolves and the teams also split the season series at two games apiece.

MCC moved its overall record to 10-24 overall and 7-15 in MACJC South Division action, while Co-Lin moved to 14-16 overall and 8-14 in conference action. The Lady Eagles will return to action Saturday for its final home doubleheader of the season against Southwest Mississippi Community College. The first pitch of Game One on Saturday at Tommy McDonald Field is set for 2 p.m.
