Lady Eagles Fall to No. 6 GA Perimeter

The Meridian Community College Lady Eagles took their undefeated record (9-0-1) on the road to face their toughest opponent yet in the 2010 season, sixth ranked Georgia Perimeter.

Like the Lady Eagles, Georgia Perimeter was undefeated at 15-0-1 heading into their showdown with MCC.

Freshman Dana Warnock scored MCC’s lone goal from 40 yards out off a free kick in the first half.

At halftime, both squads were tied 1-1.

Georgia Perimeter pulled away in the second half to claim a 5-1 win over Meridian.

The Lady Eagles fall to 9-1-1 and now prepare for the NJCAA Region 23 tournament.
