MCC women improve to 6-1

Lady Eagles have won 5 straight

(MERIDIAN) - Sharda’e Johnson scored her season-high of 17 points to lead the Lady Eagles to victory, 95-74 over Hinds Community College on Monday night.

Porsha Wilson added 14 points, while LaDarica Campbell added 12 points for MCC. LaDarica Campbell pulled 11 rebounds for MCC.

Tiara Logan dished of 7 assists.

Krystal Johnson, from Hinds, scored 16 points.

The Lady Eagles return to action on Tuesday, December 1st, 2009 at 6:00 pm against Wallace St.-Selma in the Graham Gymnasium.
