MCC basketball set for two home doubleheaders

(MERIDIAN) - The Meridian Community College basketball teams get set to host their first men’s and women’s doubleheader on Thursday night as MCC plays host to Alabama Southern Community College.

The Lady Eagles will play at 6:00 PM while the Eagles tip off at 8:00 PM.

The MCC men will enter the game with a record of 3-2.

The MCC women will play on consecutive nights when they host ASCC. Currently the Lady Eagles are 2-1 but they will also be in action the night before (Wednesday) at 6:00 PM in Scooba as they face former MACJC rival East Mississippi Community College.

Saturday, both teams return to Graham Gymnasium to host another men’s and women’s doubleheader as MCC will play Coahoma Community College at 4:00 and 6:00 PM.
