“Green Out” for soccer

(MERIDIAN) The Meridian Community College Lady Eagles soccer team will be hosting the 2009 NJCAA District Soccer Championship out at Northeast Park on Saturday at 2 pm.

Head coach, Alex George and his Lady Eagles are calling for a “Green Out” for the game, asking all MCC fans and supporters to come on out dressed in green to show support for MCC as they battle Tyler Junior College for the right to go to the 2009 NJCAA Division I Woman’s Soccer National Championship Tournament.

“We would like everyone to wear as much green as possible to show our support for our Lady Eagles,” said George.

“Thank you for all of your support this season and again if you can make it we would truly appreciate the support. Make sure you bring a lawn chair as well.”
