(MERIDIAN) The Meridian Community College men's basketball team continued its unbeaten start to the 2009-10 season on Thursday night.

The Eagles improved to 2-0 with the win.

Freshman Rashad Robinson of Newton once again led the Eagles in scoring. Robinson scored 18 points and Nate McCrory had 12 points for the Eagles, who host Bishop State at 5 p.m. Saturday.

Meanwhile, the MCC women will be playing their first game of the season against Bishop State at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
