MCC softball set for Rush Tournament

The Meridian Community College Lady Eagles softball team will be hosting the annual MCC/Rush Invitational Tournament at Northeast Park starting Friday. The tournament will continue through Saturday.

MCC game times are 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. for Friday and 9:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. for Saturday.

Due to weather cancellations earlier in the season, this will be the season opener for Coach Robert Eakins, Coach Cheri Hall and the Lady Eagles.

“The tourney promises some interesting early season match-ups,” said Eakins.

“If your schedule permits please come out and catch some of the action this weekend.”
