MCC softball delays season opener

The Meridian Community College softball team will have to wait for the start of their 2009 season.

The Lady Eagles were slated to kickoff their new season on the road against Jefferson Davis in Brewton, AL on Wednesday, but due to expected dangerous weather conditions- that game has been cancelled. The game is planned to be made up at a later date.

The next game on the schedule for the Lady Eagles is Friday, Feb 13th at Jones County. The game is scheduled to start at 3 PM in Ellisville.
