Lady Eagles drop two

The Meridian Community College softball team hosted Hinds in a Central Division doubleheader on Wednesday afternoon at Tommy McDonald Field.

The host Lady Eagles lost both games.

Hinds won game one 14-2 and then completed the sweep with a 7-4 victory.

With the sweep, MCC is now 7-7 in the division.

The Lady Eagles host Central Division opponent, East Central on Saturday at noon at Tommy McDonald Field.
