The MCC Lady Eagles end their season 17-4.
As they head into the Region XXIII/MACJC Tournament to be held at Northeast Tennis Center beginning Thursday, April 17, they should be seeded no. 1 at all flights.
“We hope to bring the Region XXIII/MACJC State Title back to MCC,” said head coach Wanda McPhail.
“Having lost last year by three points to Itawamba CC, we are eager to get the title back this year.”
The women hope to qualify for the National Junior College Tennis Tournament to be held in Tucson, Arizona May 2-7.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your cooperation, encouragement and support this season,” said McPhail.
“If you get an opportunity to come out Friday to the tennis center, I know the young ladies would appreciate your support.”
