MCC's Nadosha Strickland named MVP of MACJC All Star game
NaDosha Strickland (right) of Bay Springs received most valuable player honors following the annual Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) All-Star Basketball Games held Tuesday, April 1 at Choctaw Central High School in Choctaw. Strickland, a 5-8 guard from Meridian Community College, scored 17 points in helping lead the South All-Stars to an 82-70 win over the North squad. She is shown receiving the award from Bill Smith, women’s head basketball coach at East Central Community College in Decatur, which sponsors the All-Star competition along with the Pearl River Resort, Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, Pepsi and Mississippi Sports Medicine.
