Garon, Stirling shine for Eagles vs. Ole Miss

The Meridian Community College golf team played a scrimmage match versus the University of Mississippi at nearby Dancing Rabbit Golf Club on Saturday afternoon.

MCC sophomore, 2010 NJCAA National Champion, Brandt Garon continued his stellar career with the day’s lowest score, a 1-under par 71. Eagle freshman Jake Stirling carded a 1-over par 73. All SEC Freshman Joe David led the Rebels with a 3-over par 75.

MCC will begin their 2011 Spring season at the Faulkner State Invitational at Rock Creek Golf Club in Fairhope, AL on February 21-22.
