MHS standout inks with MCC baseball
Meridian High School senior, Luke Stanley, signed to play baseball for Meridian Community College on Tuesday morning at a ceremony held at MHS. Stanley is a catcher three year starting catcher for the Wildcats where he also played quarterback for the MHS football team.
“Along with his skills behind the plate, he brings all the intangibles that we look for in a catcher. Luke is another hard-nosed player who understands what it means to be an Eagle,” said Curry.
Luke was joined by his mother-Carol Stanley, his brother-Luke Stanley, MHS baseball coach- Chuck Butler, MCC baseball head coach- Chris Curry, and MCC assistant baseball coach- Dillon Sudduth.
