MCC releases 2011 softball schedule

(MERIDIAN)- Beginning his 18th season as head softball coach for Meridian Community College, Robert Eakins will being the 2011 season February 5th at Tommy McDonald Field when the Lady Eagles host Bishop State Community College at 1:00 p.m.

MCC will host 10 home dates, including the Rush Invitational on February 18th-19th at Northeast Park.

The home slate at Tommy McDonald Filed is highlighted with contest against in-state rivals, Jones County Junior College on March 22nd and Hinds Community College on April 20th.

The Lady Eagles also have an impressive road schedule which includes trips to Shelton State Community College on March 4th and a Spring Break jounry to Northwest Florida Tournament on March 11th and 12th in Niceville, FL.
