MCC returns to hardwood Saturday

The Meridian Community College basketball teams will return to action Saturday when they host Miss-Lou Conference rivals, Delgado Community College.

This will be the first of three match-ups between Delgado and Meridian.

The Lady Eagles are coming off a conference opening victory against Southern-Shreveport on Tuesday night. The women have now won three consecutive games and 11 of their last 12 for a 15-4 overall record and are 1-0 in conference play.

The Lady Eagles and Lady Dolphins tip off at 2 p.m. in the Graham Gymnasium.

The Eagles, who dropped their conference opener to Southern-Shreveport, are 11-7 on the season and 0-1 in conference play.
