Basketball to take on Southern-Shreveport

The Meridian Community College basketball teams open up Miss-Lou Conference play today in Clinton, MS when the Eagles and Lady Eagles take on Southern-Shreveport on the campus of Mississippi College at A.E. Wood Coliseum.

The Lady Eagles are coming off a 75-60 win over Faulkner State Community College on Saturday. With the win, MCC improved to 14-4 on the year as they get ready to begin conference action.

The Eagles were also victorious Saturday when they defeated Marion Military Institute 108-100 on the road. With the win, the Eagles improved to 11-6 on the year as they begin conference action.

Today’s contest begin at 6:00 p.m. in Clinton.

MCC will return home Saturday to begin a three game home-stand.
