Meridian Community College has rescheduled two athletic events due to recent weather.

MCC’s home opener in baseball, originally scheduled for Saturday, has been changed to Sunday. The Eagles will play Faulkner State Community College in a double-header at Scaggs Field at 1 pm on Sunday.

Meanwhile, in softball the Lady Eagles were scheduled to start their 2011 season at home on Saturday against Bishop State Community College. That contest has been moved to Tuesday at Tommy McDonald Field starting at 1 p.m.
