MCC soccer drops scrimmage to Concordia

The Meridian Community College men’s soccer team traveled to Concordia College yesterday and lost a 5-2 decision.

Leon Powell and Valentino Fogo each scored a goal for MCC.

The scrimmage game versus the Alabama four-year school will not count against the overall official season record for MCC.

MCC will play next Tuesday when both the Eagles and Lady Eagles travel to face in-state rival Hinds Community College in Raymond, MS. The women play at 5:00 pm while the Eagles kick off at 7:00 pm at Hinds on Sept. 28.

The Lady Eagles match versus Mississippi College originally schedule for tomorrow has been moved to Oct. 5 at 3 pm.
