MCC soccer inks MHS standout

(MERIDIAN)- Meridian High Soccer standout Kyle Dew made his intentions known Wednesday as he will continue his soccer career at Meridian Community College.

Dew is no stranger to competition as his Meridian High team capped a 20-6 mark on the year and advanced to the South State Championship falling short to Ocean Springs by a narrow margin.

"Kyle is a very polished player with great distribution and a powerful left foot,” said MCC soccer coach Alex George.

“He is also the kind of young man you look for in that he is a gentleman on and off the field and he's all about the team. Every team needs a guy like this,” added George.

Dew was a starting left midfielder for MHS and co-captain for last two years. He will join an outstanding freshmen class consisting of several International and out of state elites along with a host of in-state talent.
