Eagle soccer players continue their career
Graduating sophomores of the Meridian Community College men’s soccer team have signed national letters of intent to continue their careers at the NCAA level.
Kyle Hutchinson and Terry Silva have both committed to Mississippi College to play soccer starting in the fall of 2008.
Hutchinson, a sophomore from Gautier, was a key member on MCC’s 2007 squad that finished 11-5-1 and claimed runner up in the MACJC South Division.
Silva, a sophomore from Starkville, led the Eagles with 18 goals and 6 assist on the year. He was also the team captain.
“Terry is one of the best to come through this program,” said George.
“He has so much character on and off the field and gives you his best each and every match. I will miss this lad as it will be difficult to replace him.”
