MCC Baseball Games Rescheduled
From School Reports
The Meridian Community College baseball team was scheduled
to travel to Wallace-Selma Community College for a doubleheader Monday
afternoon against the Patriots, but due to very wet field conditions the games
have been rescheduled. The two teams will now meet Tuesday afternoon beginning
at noon in Selma, AL.
MCC is currently 10-12 overall for the 2014 season and will
continue its busy week of games on the diamond after playing
Wallace-Selma Tuesday afternoon. The Eagles will return to Scaggs Field
Wednesday afternoon to host Wallace-Hanceville in a 1 p.m. doubleheader and MCC
will open Miss-Lou Conference play this weekend against Baton Rouge Community
College.
MCC will open its three-game series with the Bears Saturday
afternoon with a doubleheader set to start at 1 p.m. and the series will
conclude Sunday afternoon with a single game beginning at 1 p.m.
