MCC Basketball Splits South Division Set With Co-Lin

The Meridian Community College Lady Eagles bounced back from
its disappointing road loss at Jones Monday evening to secure a 76-66 victory
over the Lady Wolves of Co-Lin Thursday night at the Graham Gymnasium. The Lady
Eagles improved to 11-2 overall with the victory and 3-1 in MACJC South
Division play, while Co-Lin dropped its overall record to 7-6 and 0-4 in league
play.
The MCC men were not as fortunate as Co-Lin held on for a
68-62 victory over the Eagles. Co-Lin improved to 6-7 overall for the 2013-2014
and 2-2 in South Division play, while MCC fell to 1-11 overall and 0-4 in
league play.
Both the MCC women and men will return to Jim Redgate Court
at the Graham Gymnasium Tuesday night in a key South Division doubleheader
against Pearl River Community College. The women will take to the floor at 5:30
and the men at 7:30.
