MCC Soccer Star Named To All-American Team

Meridian Community College soccer star MeMe Huff continues to add to her impressive list of accomplishments for the 2013 season. Huff was named a member of the 2013 NJCAA Division I All-American Team last Thursday to complete what was a historic season for the former Meridian High standout.
Huff led the Lady Eagles in goals for the 2013 season with
29 and broke a single-season school record for goals in a season. Huff helped
guide MCC to an 11-5 overall record for the season and helped MCC earn a top 20
ranking after starting the season with seven consecutive victories. Huff
finished the 2013 season by scoring at least three goals or more in five
different games, while breaking the single-season goal record at MCC by scoring
five goals in an 8-1 win over Southwest Mississippi Community College.
Huff becomes the first ever female soccer player to be named
an NJCAA Division I Soccer All-American from Meridian Community College.
