MCC women fall in Baton Rouge

The Meridian Community College women saw their perfect Miss-Lou Conference standing come to an end Wednesday night as the Eagles fell 88-67 to Baton Rouge Community College on the road.

Bianca Powell and Chasity Kearney led MCC with 16 points apiece.

Meridian will be back in action when it travels to Shreveport on Friday.

Tip-off is set for 1 p.m.

The Meridian men fell to Baton Rouge 72-68 in the nightcap and will travel to Shreveport for a 3 p.m. tip.
