Basketball on the road Wednesday and Friday

Both Meridian Community College basketball teams will hit the road today for Miss-Lou Conference action.

The Lady Eagles travel to Baton Rouge, along with the men, to face BRCC.

Women tip off at 5 pm while the men play at 7 pm.

Friday, both teams will have a make-up game against conference foe- Southern Shreveport at 1 pm and 3 pm.

Both MCC teams are in first place in the conference standings. The Lady Eagles have clinched first place and will host the first round of the conference tournament on Monday at 6 pm. If the Lady Eagles win round one, they will host the championship game on Wednesday night at 6 pm.

Meanwhile, the men hold a half-game lead with two games to play, should the men hold on to first place- MCC will be the host for both the men’s and women’s Miss-Lou Conference Tournament round one games Monday at 6 pm and 8 pm.
