MCC Baseball Announces Schedule Change

The Meridian Community College baseball team announced Monday morning that it has changed its upcoming doubleheader with Southwest Tennessee Community College at Scaggs Field to a different date due to forecasted rain on Tuesday in the Meridian area. The Eagles will now play Southwest Tennessee on March 15 at Scaggs Field in a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. MCC will also play a doubleheader against Spring Hill College at Scaggs on March 13 beginning at 2 p.m. as a part of the brief four-game home stand. MCC will also play its first conference games of the 2017 season on March 18 with a road trip at Co-Lin for a doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m.

MCC is currently 7-5 overall for the 2017 regular season after splitting (1-2, 8-5) a doubleheader against Coastal Alabama Community College (Jefferson Davis) back on Saturday at MGM Park in Biloxi, MS.
