Lady Eagles to face Co-Lin (again) for Region 23 Championship

They meet again… just like in March of 2007 when Meridian and Co-Lin women met for the NJCAA Region 23 crown, the Lady Eagles will face former MACJC South Division rival Copiah-Lincoln Community College for a trip to the 2011 NJCAA Division I Women’s Basketball National Championship.

In 2007, Co-Lin managed to defeat MCC in the region title game, 67-60. But MCC coach Hilary Allen and his 2011 squad enter the title game with a 27-5 record looking for some payback over the nationally ranked (No. 13) Lady Wolves who enter the contest 24-2.
