Softall results

This past weekend the Meridian Community College softball team played host to the Rush Tournament at the Northeast Softball Complex.

10 teams from around the country participated in the two day event.

The Lady Eagles went 1-3 over the weekend, losing games to LSU-Eunice (14-6), Central Alabama (15-1) and Northeast Mississippi (8-5).

MCC picked up a win in their final contest versus L.B. Wallace, 6-5.

The Lady Eagles then traveled to Ellisville, MS on Tuesday to face in-state opponent Jones County Junior College.

MCC dropped both games on the road, 12-3, 8-0.

The Lady Eagles (3-9) play at Hinds Community College on Saturday at 1 p.m.
