MCC defeats Marion; Robinson, Watkins score 20

(MERIDIAN) - Sophomores Rashad Robinson and Nick Watkins, both scored a game-high of 20 points to lead the Meridian Community College men to a 96-88 overtime victory over Marion Military Institute on Saturday.

Travis Fredimon scored 18 points for the Eagles, while Emmanuel Donald added 15 points. Trent Tucker added 10 points for MCC.

Melvin Brooks scored all of his 16 points in the second half for Marion.

The Eagles, now 4-1, will travel to Coahoma on Saturday for a 5:00 p.m. game.
