Lady Eagles drop game against Georgia Perimeter
(MERIDIAN) - Freshman Norianna Haynes led the Meridian Community College with 21 points Saturday against perennial powerhouse Georgia Perimeter, but the home-standing Lady Eagles could not overcome the Lady Jaguars. Georgia Perimeter defeated MCC 80-75.
Led by Haynes, MCC also got help from Arnissa Galloway, who added 14 points, and Chasity Kearney who added 12 points. Bianca Powell scored 11 points for MCC.
Tiya Johnson led Georgia Perimeter with a game-high of 22 points.
The Lady Eagles (2-2) will travel to Faulkner State on Thursday for a 6:00 p.m. game.
