The Lady Eagles used a 16-0 run to start the second half to take control of a game that was tied 29-29 at intermission.
Sharda’e Johnson scored 15 of her game-high 20 points in the second half as MCC picked up the eight-point win to improve to 20-8 on the year.
Former Meridian Lady Wildcat Tiara Parker chipped in 19 points, while Brittany Bohannon — an ex-Kemper County standout — added 15.
Jerrika Williams pulled down a game-high 16 rebounds for the Lady Eagles.
The visitors were led by Jamie lack, who totaled 16 points.
Meridian travels to Southern University-Shreveport on Wednesday.
