MCC drops two at Co-Lin

Meridian Community College ventured to Wesson Thursday night for a pair of South Division match-ups and came home on the short end of both contest.
In the women’s game, home standing Copiah-Lincoln took an 81-67 victory.
Jennifer Wair had 22 points and 10 rebounds in the loss for MCC, while NaDosha Strickland scored 16 points.
Kristen Ellis led the host Lady Wolves with 26 points. Co-Lin led 38-30 at halftime.
MCC, which fell to 12-3 overall and 2-2 in division play, will host Pearl River in another divisional match up Monday night.

The home-standing Wolves got a team-best 24 points from Trenton Hutchin and edged the Eagles by three points, 79-76.
MCC’s men fell to 8-7 overall and 2-2 in division play.
The Eagles fell despite a game-high 27 points from former Bay Springs standout Regis Huddleston, while Mario Luckett tossed in 16 points for MCC.
The Eagles host Pearl River Monday night.
