MCC to host sports camp for campers

MCC/Rush Sports Camp Wednesday, October 18

Meridian Community College's athletic department will host the Rush/MCC Sports Camp for area youngsters on Wednesday (Oct 18). The camp will coincide with the teachers work day for many local schools.

Parents are encouraged to enroll their kids in this camp so they can receive instruction from MCC coaches, staff and players. This camp is designed to improve skills in various sports including baseball, basketball, cheerleading, golf, soccer, softball and tennis.

All campers will receive a t-shirt, snacks, lunch, and free admission into the ECCC v. MCC soccer match Oct. 18 at 5 pm.

Registration will open at 8 am at the Ivy Sports Center on the campus of MCC. Session 1 begins promptly at 9 am. Four different sessions will be offered throughout the camp, concluding at 3 pm. A slam-dunk and home-run derby featuring MCC athletes will take place from 3-4:30 pm. Parents can either pick up their child at 3 pm or 5 pm.
