MCC Sweeps Past EMCC

The MCC basketball program enjoyed one of its most memorable nights in recent history to open up the new year of 2015. MCC was able to secure a sweep over East Mississippi Community at the Graham Gymnasium in front of a packed house. The MCC women defeated EMCC by a final count of 62-57, while the Eagles got past the Lions in men’s action by a final of 78-70.

The MCC women improved to 8-4 overall for the 2014-2015 season, while the MCC men moved to 6-4 overall. The two teams will return to action at home next Tuesday night against Southwest Mississippi in a key MACJC South Division doubleheader. The women will tip at 5:30 and the men will follow at 7:30.
