(CLINTON, Miss.) –Meridian Community College freshman, Amber Fields came off the bench to lead the Lady Eagles to their 20th victory of the season Saturday night against Southern-Shreveport 60-46.
The win makes the third year in a row that the Lady Eagles have won 20 or more games.
Fields scored 13 points and pulled 8 rebounds for MCC while Brittany Bohannon scored 10 points and also pulled down 10 rebounds for a double-double for the Lady Eagles.
Marcedis Govan led Southern Shreveport with 14 points.
The Lady Eagles return to action tonight at 6:00 pm against in-state rival, Jones County at home in the Graham Gymnasium.

Meridian Community College Eagles fell to Southern-Shreveport in a close game, 77-73 Saturday on the campus of Mississippi College in Clinton, MS.
Leading the way for MCC were Tory Johnson and Rashad Robinson each with 29 points.
