MCC Lady Eagle Softball in tight Playoff race

The Meridian Community College Lady Eagle softball team lost a 13-8 decision to ECCC on the road Wednesday. With the loss, MCC fell to 19-20 overall but still maintain a winning MACJC Central Div. record at 8-4. ECCC improved to 26-17, and 10-3 in division play. Hinds is also in the playoff chase with a 10-4 league mark.

MCC will travel to Pensacola Junior College for a double-header on Thursday before making up a contest with Holmes CC in a rare triple-header on Saturday, April 28 at Tommy McDonald Field in Meridian. Games are slated to start at noon on Saturday.
