Eagle Tennis Dominates ECCC

The MCC tennis Eagles improved to 14-2 with a 9-0 blanking of the ECCC Warriors.

In singles action, Scott McNamara won 6-1, 6-1 over James Harris, while Nicolas Zabrodiec won 6-0, 6-1 over John Harris.

MCC's Mickey Renfroe won 6-0, 6-0 over Wade Brown; Blake Sherman won 6-0, 6-0 over Autstin Scoggin; Joseph Meek won 6-1, 6-3 over Matthew Wilkerson; Scott Truesdale won 6-1, 6-0 over Josh Moore; Justin Newman won 6-0, 6-3 over Noah Cook, and Daniel Russell won 6-2, 6-0 over Joseph Cieglo.

In doubles action, Meridian's McNamara and Refroe were 8-3 winners over Harris and Harris; Zabrodiec and Meek won 8-3 over Brown and Cook; and Truesdale and Sherman won 8-0 over Wilkerson and Cieglo.

The Lady Eagles had no trouble with the Lady Warriors, improving to 14-3 on the spring season.

MCC's top three sinlges players won including Sierra Woolery, Alycia Merie, and Lane Denuex.

Leslie Bunn, Jodi Webb and Molly Moon all won also for MCC.

The Lady Eagles all won their double's matches also.
