MCC men fall to Jones Co.

(MERIDIAN)- The Meridian Community College men's soccer team played host to in-state rival Jones County Junior College on Saturday at C.D. Smith Field.

Despite two goals from sophomore Leon Powell and one goal from sophomore Valentino Fogo, Meridian fell to JCJC 6-3.

The Eagles are now 1-1-1 on the season.

Both the Eagles and Lady Eagles will be in action on Wednesday when they travel to play Itawamba Community College at 2 pm and 4 pm.
