MCC Tennis players to ink with SE Missouri St and West Alabama
Meridian Community College tennis coach, Wanda McPhail, has announced that two of her Lady Eagles sophomore players will be singing with university programs on Wednesday at 2 PM in the Ivy Hall Conference Room.
Ashton Hartley of Clinton, MS will be signing with Southeast Missouri State University and Katy Shoptaugh of Baton Rouge, LA will ink with the University of West Alabama.
Last weekend both Hartley and Shoptaugh helped lead their team to their second-straight NJCAA Region 23 Tournament Championship.
The Lady Eagles advance to the NJCAA Women's Tennis National Championships which will be played next weekend. Last season as freshmen, Hartley and Shoptaugh helped MCC to a final national ranking and finish of 10th at the National Championships.
