Eagles tie Concordia, change Andrew College game time

Meridian Community College men’s soccer team went on the road Saturday to face Concordia College in Selma, AL.

James Taylor of MCC scored on a penalty kick to give the Eagles their only score as MCC and Concordia played to a 1-1 tie.

The Eagles (1-0-1) will host Andrew College Tuesday at C.D. Smith Field. Tuesday’s soccer action will feature the men’s game only. Andrew College women’s team forfeited their contest with MCC. The game has been moved up from a 7:00 p.m. start to now a 6:00 p.m. official game time start for the men’s game.
