MCC’s Huddleston commits to MTSU

Meridian Community College basketball sophomore, Regis Huddleston verbally committed to continue his career at Middle Tennessee State University.

Huddleston, a former Bay Springs standout, led MCC in virtually every offensive category during the 2007-08 season. He averaged over 26 points per game in leading the Eagles to both the MACJC State and NJCAA Region 23 playoffs. MCC finished the season with a 16-11 overall record and a Runner-Up finish in the MACJC South Division with a 9-5 division mark.

MTSU is a member of the NCAA Division 1 and Sun Belt Conference. The Blue Raiders had an 11-7 SBC record and are currently in the quarterfinals of their conference tournament.
