MCC Softball to ink players on June 12

(MERIDIAN)- Meridian Community College head softball coach Robert Eakins will sign more talent to his 2008 squad on Tuesday, June 12th at 2:00 pm. Local standouts, Constance Jones of Quitman High School and Chasiddy Roberts of Clarkdale High School will be among five players expected to ink with the Lady Eagle softball program. The signing will take place on the campus of MCC.

Roberts, an outfielder, and Jones an infielder/pitcher, will join Latoya Braxton (Bogue Chitto), Natalie Parker (Biloxi) and Stephanie Stevens (Amite) as new MCC softball commitments on Tuesday.

More information will be available Tuesday at the signing of these players.
